Spicy fish fry has become an unavoidable part of the cuisine. Pomfret or Avoli fish fry with its spiciness will surely awaken your tastes buds.

Pomfret500 gm
Chilli powder4 tbsp
OilFor Frying
Pepper½ tsp
Turmeric powder½ tsp
Shallots10
Garlic4 flakes
SaltTo taste

RecommendedWhite Pomfret Cleaned Medium 500 gram
Alternate 1Grouper Pieces 500 gram
Alternate 2Seer Fish Steaks 500 gram
Alternate 3Emperor Pieces 500 gram

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Defrost the fish as per instruction.
  • Marinate the fish by making a paste with Chilli powder, Pepper, turmeric powder, Shallots, garlic, Salt and keep it aside for 30 min.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish until it is done.
  • Serve hot.
