INGREDIENTS FOR THE FISH

Mackerel500 gm
Curry leaves2 Handfull
Ginger2 con pieces
Garlic4 fat cloves
Chilli powder1 tbsp
Turmeric powder1 tsp
Corriander powder1 tbsp
Garam masala powder1 tbsp
Pepper powder1 tsp
SaltTo taste
Lemon juice1 tbsp
Coconut oil¼ cup

Alternate 1Indian Sardine Cleaned - Small
Alternate 2Anchovy Cleaned Large 500 gram

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Defrost the fish as per instruction.
  • Make deep slits on both sides.
  • Take all ingredients except oil and fish and make into a fine puree. Taste it to see whether spices and salt is enough.
  • Apply this to the fish and marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat the oil and fry the fish on both sides till it is done.

Good with rice
