INGREDIENTS FOR THE FISH

Chilli powder1 ½ tbsp
Coriander powder1 tbsp
Turmeric powder1 tsp
Fenugreek powder½ tsp
Green chilli5
Mango (small)1
Tomato (medium)2
Gambooge3 pieces
Coconut1 ½ cup
SaltTo taste
Coconut oil1 tbsp
Curry leavesAs needed
Cashew nut5

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Defrost the fish as per instructions and cut it into small pieces.
  • In a clay pot put fish pieces, mango slices, green chillies, tomato sliced.
  • Grind the coconut with cashew nut, shallots along with turmeric powder, chilli powder, fenugreek powder and coriander powder.
  • Mix this with the fish and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  • Now add curry leaves, coconut oil, 2 cups of water and salt. Mix well and keep it on fire for 15 minutes.
  • When fish is done, pour little coconut oil on top and garnish with curry leaves and serve hot.

TIP: 

Good with rice
