Fish Stew is a delicious dish in which grouper is cooked in coconut milk with spark of spices.

INGREDIENTS FOR THE FISH

Grouper Fish½ kg pieces
Onion1 big sliced
Tomato(not ripe)1 big chopped big
Green Chillies5
Garlic6 sliced
Ginger1 inch piece sliced
Thick Coconut milk¾ cup
Thin Coconut milk1½ cup
Curry leavesAs needed
SaltTo taste
Coconut Oil2 tbsp

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Defrost the fish as per instruction and wash it.
  • In a pan pour coconut oil and add onions,ginger,garlic,chillies and curry leaves into it.
  • Now toss for sometime till the onions are transparent.
  • Add fish,coconut milk,tomato and salt into it.
  • Boil for 10 mins or till the fish is done.
  • Add thick coconut oil and remove before it boils.
  • Serve hot.

TIP: 

Tastes best with bread and puttu.
