Crab is a very nutritious seafood and Crab roast is one of the dishes that’s loved by most of the non-vegetarian people in Kerala.

STEP 1.
Crab500 gm
Onions2 Big sliced
Tomatoes2 small (chopped)
Green Chillies3 Slit half
GingerSmall pieces finely chopped
Oil3 tbsp
Tomato sauce2 tbsp
Sugar2 tsp
Egg1
STEP 2.
TO MAKE PASTE.
Chilly powder1 tbsp
Turmeric½ tsp
Coriander powder½ tbsp
Pepper½ tsp
Garam masala½ tsp
Garlic5 flakes
Gingersmall piece

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Defrost the crab as per instruction and wash it.
  • Heat oil in pan, toss ginger, onions and green chillies and saute for sometime.
  • Add masala paste and curry leaves, salute till the raw smell goes.
  • Add tomatoes and cook for sometime.
  • Add crab along with tomatoes and cook with lid on medium flame for10 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and add tomato sauce and sugar, cook till the gravy becomes thick.
  • Remove the crab from the pan, then add beaten egg slowly to the boiling gravy.
  • Put the crab back to the gravy and pour some ghee over it and serve hot.

TIP: 

Good with batoora, chappathi and rice.
