RECIPE DESCRIPTION:

Relax and enjoy a quiet evening with some squid balls. Dip them in tomato ketchup and bite into the luscious ball. Even the most reluctant kids will try it and like it.

Squid500 gm chopped
Curry Leaves1 tbsp Chopped
Celery½ tbsp Chopped
Green chillies1
Garlic1
GingerA small piece
White Pepper½ tsp
SaltTo taste
Corn Flour1½ tbsp
OilTo fry
Rice Flour4 tbsp
Miada2 tbsp
Soda bi-carbonate¾ tsp
WaterAs needed

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Defrost squid as per instruction and wash.
  • Wrap in towel so that no water is there.
  • Take a mixy jar and put squid chopped,garlic,chilly,ginger,pepper,salt and grind it.
  • To it add curry leaves and celery and just pulse it.
  • Take it out and mix cornflour and keep in fridge for 5 min
  • Make small balls with it and keep aside
  • In another bowl mix maida,rice flour,soda bi carbonate,little celery and salt
  • Pour enough water to make a batter
  • Heat oil dip squid balls in the batter and deep fry

Used as a snack or a starter.
