This dish is extremely delicious prepared using raw mangoes in it, which gives the entire dish a perfect sourness and the spiciness comes from green chillies and you can get the flavour of coconut and curry leaves too.

INGREDIENTS FOR THE FISH

Anchovy250 gm
Raw Mango6 pcs
Curry leaves1 spring
Green Chilli3 slit
Saltto taste
FOR GRINDING.
Coconut1/2 cup
Dry Red Chilli3-4
Shallots3-4
Coriander Powder1 tbsp
FOR TEMPERING.
Coconut Oil2 tbsp
Curry leaves1 spring

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Grind all the ingredients in the list to a rough puree. Don’t make it into smooth paste.
  • Now take anchovies,mango,green chilli,curry leaves,salt in a kadai.
  • Add the ground masala in and mix once.
  • Cover with a lid and put it over heat.
  • Let it cook for 5-7 mins. Don’t stir it, just shake the pan. If you stir it the fish will get broken.
  • Heat coconut oil and add in curry leaves.
  • Pour this tempering over the fish and mix well carefully.
  • Serve this with rice.
