INGREDIENTS FOR THE FISH

Seer Fish½ kg
Chilly powder4 tbsp
Corriander powder2 ½ tbsp
Fenugreek8 pieces
Ginger1 inch pieces
Small Onions10
Green chilly4
Garlic6
Curry Leavesas needed
Coconut oil4 tbsp
Saltto taste
Water2 ½ cup

RecommendedSeer Fish Head Pieces 500gm
Alternate 1Red Snapper Skinless Pieces 500 gram

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Defrost the fish as per instruction and wash.
  • In a tava dry roast fenugreek,chilli powder and corriander powder
  • Grind it in a mixy with little water to a paste.
  • Crush together ginger,garlic,chilli and small onions keep aside.
  • In another pan pour coconut oil and saute the crushed ingredients.
  • To it add the masala paste and saute till raw smell goes.
  • To it add kokum,curry leaves,salt and water,let it boil.
  • Then add fish into it.
  • When it is done pour coconut oil over it and remove from fire.

TIP: 

Good with rice
