Prawns½ kg
Chilli powder1 tsp
Coriander powder1 tsp
Pepper powderA pinch
Chopped onions1 ½ tbsp
Chopped ginger1 tsp
Garlic15
Tamarind pod2-3
Curry leavesAs required
Coconut sliced thin½ Cup
SaltTo taste
Coconut Oil1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds1 tsp
Onion½ cup (sliced long)
Curry LeavesA handful

HOW TO PREPARE

  • In a clay pot add chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, finely chopped onions, chopped ginger and garlic, curry leaves, pod tamarind, salt and sliced coconut.
  • Mix this with prawns and let it boil for maximum 2 minutes making it sure it doesn’t get overcooked.
  • The masala should be intact to it. Take it off flame.
  • Now take another pan and heat oil.
  • Add mustard seeds to it and let it crackle.
  • Add onions and sauté till golden brown.
  • Now add curry leaves and cooked prawns to it.
  • Sauté until it gets roasted. Serve hot.

TIP: 

Good with Chapatti.
